Come and See whats inside!

Founded in 1986, The Ronald McDonald House of Scranton serves the families of children who are hospitalized here in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Distracted and amused by television, games books, a relaxing back porch and a cozy playroom overflowing with toys, guests enjoy a safe quiet place to recover from the day's emotional trials.

A beautiful and newly expanded & renovated building, nestled in a charming section of Scranton, the house boast eight bedrooms of various sizes, and four handicapped accessible bedrooms. Each bedroom has an individual telephone line and long-distance calling cards are provided compliments of AT&T.

All of the bathrooms have private bathrooms with showers (dour being handicapped-accessible) come complete with toiletries. Although clean linens are provided by the house, laundry facilities are available on the premises and free of charge.

Guests are encouraged to take advantage of our fully stocked kitchen, helping themselves to groceries and preparing their own meals.

To keep busy, guests and their children often play in the yard or walk up the street to visit Nay Aug Park and The Everhart Museum.
